Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game SwarmHole ("the app", "we") handles information. We built SwarmHole to collect as little data as possible. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not knowingly collect your name, email, or contact details.
1. Information handled
- On‑device data. Your settings (language, haptics, reduce motion), your high score, and your purchase status are stored only on your device (in the system's local storage). This data is not sent to us.
- Advertising data. The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and limited technical/usage data to serve and measure ads. If you do not grant tracking permission (see Section 4), ads are shown but are not personalized.
- Game Center. If you use the leaderboard, Apple Game Center processes your Game Center player ID, nickname, and submitted score. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms.
- Purchases. The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information.
2. Why
Data is used only to run the game, show and measure ads, operate the global leaderboard, process the optional purchase, and keep your preferences. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third‑party services
4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On first launch the app may ask for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites, used to show more relevant ads. You can decline — you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Children
SwarmHole is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your choices
- Remove personalized ads: decline the tracking prompt, or buy "Remove Ads" to disable ads entirely.
- Reset on‑device data: use Settings → Reset Progress in the app, or delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
- Limit ad tracking system‑wide: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
